Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader

27 Feb

Been a little quiet this week, partly due to the fact i’ve been working away on my Rogue Trader project :

It’s in a similar vein to my Warhammer Fantasy 3rd ed project – to translate the current army books to a previous version. And partly due to the fact I picked up ‘Thousand sons’ t’other day & I’m working my way through it.

Handily enough, Rogue Trader has a handy-dandy pricing system for stats & vehicles, all its taken are a few extra tweaks to add a few extra abilities in there, as well as a slight modification to the vehicle pricing to allow differing armour on each face – an aspect of the current rules I do like.

The biggest pain in the butt has been the weapons and armour. It’s taken a little time to figure out a formulae for the, but it’s looking fairly good.

However, to give you’all a taster, I’ve got this sample page from the Chaos marines lists, just to show how its going. If you were going to use it you’d need: Rogue Trader,

Realms of Chaos: Slaves to Darkness,

Realms of Chaos: the Lost & the Damned,

plus the explanatory notes & workings. but it’s just a sample… Gimme time 🙂

Anyhoo – you can download the sample PDF here
